º∙◘µ╖§╜≈ƒ∙º» This is some of the most dynamic noise I've ever heard in my life. Highly recommended for blasting on the beach out of a 1980's boombox. Favorite track: Screaming Torture and Administrative Errors.

Upon relocating to Beijing, China in late 2012, Adam MacGregor set about reviving his long-running but then semi-active experimental project torus. The project relaunched with the bandcamp release of "Forward Policy is a Knife" and the limited mini-CD "环面" (distributed for free at the initial performances at School Bar and XP, Beijing). Following several equipment upgrades/fortuitous failures, live, one-take improvisations for the material on this limited cassette began in fall 2013. All of the material was recorded direct to a Zoom H2 digital recorder and various sound sources were used (Phosphene Audio-built oscillators, tape loops, malfunctioning PAiA ring modulator, Korg Monotron, contact-microphones applied to "junk construction", bowed and e-bowed metals, etc.).

In order to preserve a modicum of rawness and spontaneity, the digital audio files that appear here are unmastered. As such, exercise caution on playback, as volume fluctuations and dynamic range remains as unpredictable as when these tracks were first captured.

This digital version is included with purchase of the physical cassette only. It includes a number of bonus tracks, including several live performances from School Bar and XP in Beijing, tracks from the "环面" MCD and "Kalapani", a leftover track from the LMISR sessions.
